Unwelcome Mat was inspired by the kitschy plastic grass welcome mats that dressed many suburban stoops where I grew up. Unwelcome
Mat, however, is comprised of hundreds of plastic toy army men.
Unwelcome Mat will be on exhibit at the Clara M. Eagle Gallery in Murray, Kentucky September 19 - November 4, 2008!
