My political art series is inspired by games from my own childhood. These pieces suggest a relationship between the games we played as children and the games we play as adults. The game of politics, however, exacts a much higher cost of human life, resources, and the state of the world.

"Resuscitation" is a multi-media assemblage inspired by the game "Operation". The Nose lights up and a buzzer will sound when the probe is placed in chest cavity because there is no heart to resuscitate.
Nostalgia is a common thread in my body of work. I often use images or objects from the past as a platform from which to explore and reassess the present. "Snap", "Crackle" and "Pop" are original airbrush paintings reflecting the look of vintage icons
from the 40's and 50's. Each painting is encased in a cereal-filled lucite frame of my design. There is a button on the
front of each frame, which when pressed, plays a recording from a vintage advertisement.
